Peraso Inc. (PRSO) shares more than doubled Friday after its 60GHz millimeter-wave technology was selected by Israeli defense contractor InTACT for a military drone identification system. The partnership, ongoing for two years, focuses on tactical drone Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems using Peraso's beamforming transceivers.

The technology enables ground forces to distinguish between allied and enemy drones through secure, low-power directional communication resistant to jamming. PRSO reached intraday highs of 115% on the news, with pre-market momentum carrying another 33% gain into Monday.
